Think the 90's... Grunge is coming back, update the look with a touch of boho chic.
Over sized sweaters, scarves, combat boots, buckled, zippers, floral patterns, plaids, leggings, flats, texture, feminine dresses especially baby dolls, skinny jeans, rips, tears, holes, scarves, long coats, slouchy boots, aviators, hats, long skirts, ethnic prints, stockings, hoodies, maxi skirts, tights, kitten heels, natural materials, over the knee socks, clogs are still in... knits, lace up boots, fringe, layered pieces, oxfords, a touch of vintage and lots of accessories are things to keep in mind this fall.
The military look is also very in this season, camo-print and military details are key so be sure to incorporate that into your boho chic look... another thing to add is menswear with a feminine touch, blazers and trousers are hot this season... and don't forget hints of animal prints especially cheetah print.
The biggest thing to remember with both boho chic and grunge, is that it's all about expressing yourself with fashion, and having fun with what you wear while being comfortable.
As far as the color pallet goes this fall, soft pinks, black, taupes and tans, off whites, earthy greens and browns, burnt oranges, cranberry reds, greys, deep violets and muted blues... metallics are also in, but I advise against it unless you're a robot street performer...
Not up for a designer price tag? The top shop is right on trend this year, H&M had great colors, American Eagle is another season favorite of mine, Urban outfitters and pacsun have some cool stuff, and surprize... Target... they have some great basics for the season, and la dolce vita did a shoe line for them, need I say more? Wet seal and forever 21 did alright, and Charlotte Russe was good too. I've ordered pieces from each of those stores for the fall.
heres some examples, I am gonna post another blog of just pictures so check it out...

I am the biggest fan of this octopus cuff!!! ...if anyone was wondering what to get me for x-mas that is...
